lilFEET
I hunt coyotes with a 22-250. I was talking to a few guys about hunting the other day and they said I can't hunt coyotes with a 22-250 if I have an open deer tag for this year. I looked in the regulations book and couldn't find anything. Just curious if anyone else knows anything about this.
Eric Wettschreck
Without reading the reg book lately, I think I remember something about not being out with a rifle a couple of days before deer season. Couple days before season starts was a while ago.I'm thinking you're fine.
rockman
The use of a firearm before the deer opener regulation, is for the 5 days before opening day. I have never heard, or read of anything in the regs., about what your asking about. You should be good to go.
