Hyfax slides - when to change?

Do you guys change them when they are approaching the "Wear line" or do you go until it i hits the wear line, and then change them? I think I am getting close, but no there yet on one, maybe two of my sleds. I think about a total of 2600 miles on one (polaris xc), that one is closest and I know they are original ones. The other (yammie long track) I put new ones on when I bought it at about 1500 miles (I was nervous but know I didn't HAVE to change it then) and now have almost 3k.

Thanks!

Check on the inside of the hifax up in the front that's where it gets the thinnest if past the line replace. To make ease of removal lift back of sled up and spray WD40 down the hifax let warm up in heated garage and go to town. To answer your question I would wait till line is gone.
