That's why I'm asking and with that many views I'm not the only one. How's the ice? Any lakes that weren't froze over before the snow? I'm not from the area and am planning a weekend trip and looking for any help on lakes or areas to avoid because of ice conditions.

Wish I could help but I stay more in the Brookings area. There is roughly 8-10 inches around Brookings where the waterfowl did not keep things open.

Wow...getting mad at people for not posting their info on a HSOforum. Pretty funny. You could go out and figure it out for yourself like a lot of us do? Just a thought....

Not mad. Just looking for ice info. Not your gps coordinates to your hot spot. I'm 5 hours away. Thought maybe someone local could help a guy out. Guess that's too much to ask.
