Vexilar battery indicator?

Ok I bought a new vexilar 22 pro pack this fall and I came with the battery indicator. I fully charged the battery and turned it on. It showed 100% for about 10 sec. Than kept dropping down within a few min. Of running it was down to 75%. Is this normal?

sounds like a bad battery. the FL22HD was discontinued this year so what you bought is a carry over unit from last year. you could talk to vexilars customer service and see what they could do for you. it might be covered under the warranty.

Not normal. My fl22 does not do that.

I agree with about having a bad battery. last year my 20 did exactly the same thing. The costumer service fella (very helpful) said they would warranty but I'd have to pay for the shipping, about $20. So I Just bought one from fleet farm.

Well after spending 500 I am not going to be happy if the battery is [PoorWordUsage] and I have to put more money into a brand new locator. Even though it was a discontinued model they should do better.

Sad to say but I could easily go to mills and buy a 20 swap battery's and bring back? Sad but what's a guy to do now days

Before you get the wrong opinion or get too worked up about it, give Vexilar a call and explain the situation. You will more than likely be happy with the outcome.

Alright I got ahold of vexilar they said my locator is actually 2 years old so that explains the bad battery. After further discussion they agreed to send me a new battery. Thanks vexilar for straightening this out.
