Warm Bag?

I want to know if anyone here has one or has used one and what they thought about it. I've been wanting something like it and looked into the Heater Body suit. HBS just upgraded and no longer offers what I would call a basic model. I'm not interested in HBS as I dont want to pay an additional $60 for an upgrade I dont want or need.

They have some HBS's on clearance - I love mine! I don't know anything about the warm bags...

I've had a HBS for over 15 years and it is still in great shape. It is the single best item I have purchased for deer hunting (other than rifle and bullets) as it plan keeps me warm which keeps me in the stand all day. If you are not a sit all day type hunter than probably no need for one but even for 4-5 hour stints it is great.

Like I said,i'm not interested in the HBS. They added a scent eliminator and only produce suits with the unit installed, which jacked the price up by 50-60 bucks. I dont bow hunt so i have no need to get within 25 yards of my target. I also hunt the wind. My average shot is in the 100-120 range, so having to waste $60 on a feature I dont want or need is out.

Look around, I've seen other knock-offs on the market.

I DO like my HBS, pre scent eliminator. It DOES keep you warm in the stand.

If you or someone you know are handy with a sewing machine, I think it would be fairly easy to make your own.

Or just take a sleeping bag with.

If you are only shooting deer 100-200 yard away just get a sleeping bag. Otherwise used Heater Body Suits come through on hsolist fairly regularly, though they go for a premium. I was just outbid on one last night that went for $330. Gives you an idea of how valuable they are. I love mine! That's why I'm looking for a second one for my girlfriend...
