Will be up about 6:30 and fishing by 7:30 the bite has been excellent of late. Not jealous of duck hunters, the "okay" old days are long over.

Oh yeah and walleye taste better...lol

Yes, everyone be careful out there this weekend. Looks like the temps are gonna drop pretty good, and the wind looks to blow pretty hard as well. If you're going out in a boat, be prepared, and don't push it. Hypothermia and/or death is not worth a few ducks.

I'll still be fishing as well, deacon. I'm gonna wait just a bit longer in the hope that we see a strong migration come down our way. I just can't stop open water fishing until the skim ice forms! I'll squeeze in hunting trips between fishing trips, or just do both, multi-species weekends! Gotta love fresh grouse, ducks, venny and walleyes on the grill!

I sometimes hunt ducks in the morning, fish around noon time, then bowhunt the evening! Love fall!
