leechlake
I decided to try an experimental food plot by my driveway at the cabin in an area about 20x20. I've done some plots in our area and they ended up ok but I always took short cuts and for my experimental I wanted to try it the "right way." Long story short I planted brassicas and rye 3 weeks ago and we got some rain and in the last 5 days the rye really popped up and about a dozen of the brassica were almost a foot tall by Sunday and others were coming along. Monday am before I left I walked down the driveway to check it out and all my prized foot tall brassicas were...gone.I was laughing because I was so proud that it was working until some lowly deer came by and ate them. Be careful what you wish for.
Bureaucrat
That's good news. Now all you have to do is get out the chainsaw and start widening the plot. Welcome to the obsession.
