Had the 600 HO on my last 2 sleds and never felt at a loss for power. Put lots of miles on them too! (13000+)

My new sled has a 600 Etec and the power and mileage are exceptional. Unless you are doing mountain riding or towing frequently I can't see a real big reason to go bigger.

The 1200 4 stroke is a very nice machine. Plenty of power, I believe close to 140hp.

The 900 would not be much fun though.

Of those 3 choices it would be 1200, 600 Etec and then the 900 4 stroke.

The 1200 will last a long long time and give you very little trouble. The ETECs are good motors, but with their crank bearing (isoflex) setup they do require a complete rebuild at around 3000 miles. Many guys dont even last that long. Which, isnt necessarily all that bad, but something to consider.

Did some searching on the web and some pretty good reviews and not much bad to say about the 1200. I believe the 900 is new this year and will probably be a good motor but I don't like to buy the first year out. Going out to hay days this weekend to look around and ask some questions. So far I am leaning towards a Ski Doo grand touring SE with the 1200 and all the goodies.
