i remember thinkin back in the day dale jarret wasnt much of a driver but he proved me wrong

Larson was already signed with EGR for 7 years. He was in his 3rd year of the contract, which started off as a developmental deal and has progressed quickly. SHR and Hendricks have been courting Larson for their stable, but with the contractual obligations to EGR it would've taken a buyout to make it happen, and Kyles stock is rising every day. (Kyle is very good friends with tony and Jeff and they want nothing but the bestforthis young talent.). I'm sure they are both helping him behind the scenes with legal issues to make sure that he is doing everything correctly. And n the interests of KLR.

Ganassi indicated yesterday in the press conference that Kyle will see a few sprint cup series start this year yet. (He has tested a full cup car at rocking ham already and did very well.

His dirt track days may very well be done for a while though. He indicated that if he got 10 races in next year in the sprint car he would be happy. (Compared to 119 last year and a 70 pace this year)He will within two years have a sprint car team similar to Stewart and Kahne that will feature 2full time driver with the 1k in the background for those select races that Kyle can get to.

His primary focus will be the cup series and the nns next year, as it should be.

Target and Kyle Larson will be a great combination, as he is a sponsors dream..... And a great kid to boot.

What people don't realize is that tony is a co owner. Its Stewart HAAS racing not Stewart racing. Everything lmtout said is exactly what I read as well. Tony was not involved and not supportive of the idea. Haas was even quoted as saying "he will get over it" meaning tony.

Newman was a great guy so this whole thing sucks because they told him they couldn't do 4 teams. I think this is a big undertaking especially since they struggled this year by going to 3 teams.

I'll say havick is a pretty smart guy though when it comes to racing he put the nationwide cars and his truckks in the winner circle alot

and coulda been more successful if it hadnt been for rowdy

Heard that as well. I thought Burton was resigned........ If this is the case looks like Stremme might get a pay day for stepping aside for Burton to get the B squad ride. Sure seems like Newman has something solid lined up.....
