Logmein question

I have the free version on my pc and paid version on my iPad. The iPad version works way better than the pc does. Would I get better performance with the pro version on the pc? The graphics and general performance differences are huge and I don't know why.

What are you using it for on the PC side? To access the iPad?

I've used Logmein for years and it works fine for me, but I just use it to access my work computer at home, on the road, whether through my Android phone or laptop.

I don't seem to have any issues with either.

I'm using it access my work pc. From my iPad it works great, but from my home pc it is horrible. By horrible I mean it is very slow and the graphics are very bad.

I've tried it with Firefox and Chrome, both using the plugin for logmein.

I use the paid Logmein on both, and even the paid is not good graphics wise. GoToMyPC was always great performance and graphics wise, but Logmein even chokes on simple PPT files. Not sure why, I have tried many different settings, and it is not on my PC side, or shouldn't be.

Joinme seems to display graphics fine, so not sure Logmein does not, but I honestly haven't checked with their tech support... but you are not alone, not even on the paid version, in my experience.

I can't understand why it works great on my iPad. Maybe the graphics capabilities are better on the iPad? It is a paid ap on ipad too. The pc has a graphics card, not just the on board type.

I know it's not my connection speed because it's the same service for both the ipad and the pc from my home.

I have been in the mountains of Montana all week. Woke up in Glendive MT, got about 9 hour drive today to get home.

I'll mess around with the laptop and access my desktop and see if there's anything I can come up with.

The app for Android (Logmein Ignition) is a paid app too.

I don't really notice a dramatic speed difference between using the app or the laptop, maybe my app is slow too?
