Haven't had much luck getting anything biggerStaring: Went there once. Lots of panfish. Have people been catching carp there?
Mr Special
im not to familiar with the lakes around there, but the Mn river is just dwn the road a lil and will offer a good chances and bigger fish. its hard to go wrong with soaking a crawler on bottom, it'll catch jsut about everything that swims in the river.there sum shorefishing spots along the Old Ferry Bridge area. FYI, Bring ur bug spray
aanderud
I've heard that Staring lake has a large carp population but a guy last weekend also told me that they removed a LOT of them last winter. Not sure if it's true or not.
Stick500
I heard that same thing about carp removal at Staringdang, I just moved to Eden Prairie!EDIT: I did my research and yes they did make a big haul out of Staring this past winter. It was the U of M bunch using their "Judas fish" method to figure out where they're schooling under the ice.you can read about it here; Judas carp
