Anybody seeing any broods yet?

When I read the title, I was hoping you'd have a poult pic. I haven't been seeing hardly any posted. The long, wet, cool, drawn out spring probably took its toll on some broods.

Saw my first Monday morning, State Highway 13 near Kilkenny.

Saw a hen I assume with two little ones crossing the road yesterday. Could have been more hiding in the tall grass they were so small. West metro.

have seen a couple lone hens along the road/ditch. i am guessing the poults werent too far away

In 9 months those cute little furballs will be strutting/gobbling and coming to check out our calls & decoys!

I saw a group of ten with the hen near Battle Lake. A few went into my moms garage and seemed content to hang out. I walked by the garage and three blasted out (flying) but one fluttered against the back window for a minute. I figured I better get it out before he broke his wings or neck or something. Grabbed him and carried him out and he raced into the woods to join the others. The hen was giving them the business the whole time..My 10 year old daughter got a huge kick out of it. The population in general in that area seems way down.
