Flathead death roll

This one tried to break my arm. This first spin (which really hurt) was blocked from the camera, but you can see the second spin.

Its tough when a big fish does this because you can't let go. They chomp down and spin and even if you could let go, its not the best idea because you will end up with a major case of flat rash without a tight grip. As it is, I still got beat up pretty good.

reminds me of a low forties fsih a few yrs back that tried to eat and break my arm off.

as i was releasing it, when it gained its strength, it swam forward clamped onto my forearm then, proceeded with the deathroll. afterwrds looked like i had been noodle-ling not fishing
