Mn racing

great weather at raceway park today. the races started at 3pm. Took lots of pics with the nephew next ta cars in the pits and got some memorbilla since its prolly the last season...

I see Arlington is cancelled again. Nothing against the raceway but maybe they shouldn't start the season until Memorial weekend. It seems most of the races in May are rained out most years. Too bad.

That has happeneed with the majority of the tracks in Mn and Iowa in the past few years.

Some years we can go and race 3 nights a week before Mem weekend without a drop of rain and the next year, it's all rain.

Don't feel bad, we drove to Britt, Iowa to race and when we got there, it rained out. Turn around and drive home.

That's racing and traveling on the road.

From what I have seen in the past few years, most race track management is having a very hard time making ends meet and anytime they can get a few more shows in, the better off they will be at years end. If a few rain out, oh well, at least they tried to get another show in rather than to simply say, not open till June 1st.

Seen tracks change hands and some have simply closed due to lack of funds.
