bigcloud
I was thinking about setting up a Stoeger 3000(3") or a Stoeger 3500 (3.5") for shooting #4 buckshot. 1- what length barrel would you order?2- what choke tube you buy for it for a good tight pattern3- would you put a red dot on it or some type of fiber optic bead?4- any other suggestionsThanks
Hodgy17
3.5" would be better preferably.1. A longer barrel, 28 inch2. Hevi-shot makes one called dead coyote that works well, there are many choke tubes that will get the job done.3. If it were me i would get a red dot so i could see my sights when night hunting.4. There are many combinations of all of these focal points that would come together and make a stellar coyote shotgun.
Rost
I'd buy a Remington 870 Express and spray paint it white. A 26" barrel with a full choke and 4 buck will do the trick. I'd prefer a reliable pump gun when the temps are below 0 degrees.
bigcloud
well I got a Stoeger M3000 26" Max-4 camo (3" semiauto 12 ga.) So far I got a sling for it and put a second bead on the vent rib to help in aiming. I was thing bout a red dot but for now I'm going to wait. Next thing is a special choke tube. I have decided to shoot 3" #4 buckshot(regular lead) Any suggestions on a good choke tube for getting those coyotes out around 50 yards? Thanks
