Egress window cost?

I need 2 egress windows put in. Any idea on avg cost, there is currently a small window there now in each room. And I can do the digging/clean up.

What are the basement walls made out of? Poured walls will cost alot more than block walls.

It's a block basement, 11 block high.

It depends on how much material has to be brought in to give the area a proper slope.

Digging two big holes next to the house is asking for trouble if that isn't addressed.

Relying on the drain tile at the footing is also asking for trouble.

When you get your bids make sure they are bidding on the same thing with the above solution(s)specifically listed on the proposed work to be done.

One guy might not think it necessary and the other(like me)will.

In addition to the digging you can also save a few bucks if you seal off the area in the basement where another mess will be made.
