Went N of DL with Jim Uran...first time on Lake for either of us and we (or I should say Jim) was able to find them and they were big Slabs. By end of the day it was a wet, slushy mess and the ice was getting soft. With this hot weather, warm nights, and possible rain I am afraid I am done for this hardwater season..but it was the best ever! Pic below of a few.

Went out over the weekend with a few friends, ice is getting uglier, but we may be able to squeeze a little more time out of it! Here is a mixture of pictures from the weekend. Fishing was a little goofy this weekend, about as goofy as the spring weather we have been having, but my goodness was it a pleasure sitting on the ice all weekend in mid 60 degree weather. Tonight we fished a local lake, we fished from 14-20 FOW and the fish were everywhere in the water column, the bigger ones were up quite a ways though, we caught some dandy bluegills and some ok crappies.
