KEN W
New flood forecast just came out.Fargo has a 50-50 chance of seeing 38 ft.That would be a top 5 flood of all time. They have 750,000 sandbags and will start filling 325,000 more next Monday. The SE part of ND has up to 10 inches of water in the snow.It will get a lot worse if there is a fast warm-up or if a thunder storm comes through with heavy rain to make all that snow go in a hurry. harvey lee
Yes, we will get flooded out real bad south of Leonard on the Sheyenne. Espically if the Corp of Eng's opens up the Bald Hill Dam.
kfk
I live up here in the northern part of the Red River Valley and I'm expecting one of those miles and miles wide Red River floods again. The longer it stays cold the worse it will be. It makes life interesting.
marine_man
Tom - The Sheyenne isn't in as bad of shape. No "major" flooding projected for Lisbon or Kindred at this point. They anticipate Baldhill will be able to regulate it better this year than in the past. That all could change if it stays colder longer, or somewhere in the basin gets a big rain.. but as of right now, things look ok.marine_man
