SPRING (Tonka Ice Out prediction)

I know it's hard to believe with the temp at 27 on March 12th and 2 feet of ice on the lakes, but I just saw some geese hanging out and more showing up here and there.

I'll go with around the normal ice out date for Tonka. 4/19/13

Last year it was 3/21

im thinking april 15, there is alot of ice out there, but also depends on the amount of rain fall this spring.

Considering it was 80 degrees on March 17th last year and that week was record setting temps for last year also it is only a faded memory of what we are all waiting for. Open water fishing.

Soon it will be upon us.

Unfortunately I think it will be a little later this year. I'll guess April 20th.

Drove out over the weekend. Still 17-18" or so. I don't think the lake will open up in 18 more days. Ya never know, but it's not looking that way for my prediction.
