I beleive Tom is correct. We are talking about two different issues here though...one on federal land, and two, on other than federal land. I do not think you can have lead shot on federal waterfowl management lands. Benny, I have to disagree with your statement, there are a lot of good CO's and Cops out there...I would say most of them are. Careful with your generalizations, they might come back to haunt you some day!

A few of u said that hunting for pheasants with lead on state land is illegal. Thats not true for wmas only wpas.

What was this big fuss about civil rights in the boat search thread. I won't buckle under to a CO who makes his own rules. I 'll abide by the laws written by the DNR, Federal and State not by a rouge CO's.
