Bow Shop

I am looking to get my first bow and want to find a good bow shop in the metro. Any favorites or recommendations? I am looking for something used, will need to get fitted and I want some instruction. Thanks.

Used is actually pretty tough to find at most bow shops. I shoot at Archery Specialists in Osseo and they have maybe 8-10 used bows on their rack.

The guys working there are knowledgable and can help you with the fitting and tuning.

Seeing that you're in CHanhassen, Cabin Fever in Victoria would be the closest to you. They are a great place to go. I bought my first bow there almost 7 yrs ago and it was a used one. I also bought my current bow from there. They have at least a dozen used bows for sale and a full selection of new stuff in almost every price range.

Another great shop nearby would be Schaffer Archery in Burnsville. I bought my daughter's bow there only because they had them in stock.

Next place but certainly not bad at all would be Archery Specialties in Osseo. They are run by a guy named Brian who actually worked at Cabin Fever for several years before starting his own shop. Good guy. I've shot up there and had work done at his new shop before.

All three places are a full pro shop, have an indoor range and will bend over backwards to get you shooting right.

I live in Eden Prairie and would be happy to shoot with you anytime. I've taught several people and I love sharing the sport.
