18" Rainbow and 12lb Pike

Got out on Saturday, February 16th with Clint, the day was somewhat slow but we managed a handful of fish. This video is of my personal best Rainbow (18 inches)and Clint catching a fat fat 12 pound Pike on a tipup.

Way to go! You ready for visitors from MN to join you yet??? I suppose ice will be out soon there and it would be next year, when is the earliest you can get on the ice out there?

Well since there is such a change in elevation here. There are already a few lakes up north that are open. The mountain lakes will probably stay frozen until April. And this year some people got out in November on the ice. I'm sure they had to travel up into the mountains for that however.

Yeah man, I'd recommend it! I feel like I've gotten my moneys worth from my Hero 2 and the new 3's are even better! It's fun to document your outings and it made sense for me since I fish alone most of the time.

And I love watching Dtro's videos of the big cats he catches, I would love to see some more of the cat guys' videos!

Yeah, Darren's videos are fun to watch. I've been wanting to find a camera for that purpose (catfishin videos) for a while, but its tricky to ind something somewhat inexpensive with a light. I'd hate to spend several hundo on something and have it get banged around in a river boat full of catfish slime lol.
