I'm making it for a lady in Newberry, MI as a surprise for her son. It still needs polishing and paint. I did decide to weld in the wedge to make it stronger.

I just forged a set of tines for my first spear its now a 7 tine 9" wide spear.

no, I just make them for something to do, I lost my job in Nov, I'm just now starting to get job offers, i have a facebook page with all my decoys if you want to trade for something let me know.

tested out the new spear with the gold sucker, which is my brothers first try at decoy carving. the big pike is from a happy customer.

33"+ the first time out with 8 1/2" my red and pearl worker

the big fish was 41" and the same friend of mine got it the day before, to this point his best was 32".

ya, it has open sores and looks like some private parts on his tail, lol, my friend is thinking of giving it to the dnr.
