Selling Vehicle MN to ND

Hey guys, we are looking to sell my wifes car. We have the Title and the Lean release. I am wondering what all do I have to do as a seller in order to pass on a new owner the title? I have only traded in a vehicle not sold it for cash like what we are going for this one.

you do not need to do anything special. just fill it out as if you were selling it to someone from Minnesota. when they take it to their state to register it they will take care of it.

Make sure you fill out the part of the title you keep, date it and have the buyer sign it. I m

have heard of cases where the buyer doesn;t change the title and has a wreck, the title is still in your name, guess who has to prove the car or truck was sold. Thats what your portion of the tile you keep verifies.

Yup, had the cops show up at my door a couple of times.

Cash sales for me end with, "you get the keys when I see the transferred title!"
