Strikemaster Electric Auger

So I have a electric Auger And It is a very good auger but only cut two hole 24' ice I have it at strickmaster as we speak they say there is nothing wrong with it They need to take it to the lake and try it but I'm sure they won't \

Haven't heard from them this was Thursday my buddy brought it to them and they were going to give it back to him when he told them to look further so well see anyone else have this

Could be a bad battery. I have a jiffy lectric could only cut 1 hole, replaced battery now I get 10 in 28" of ice

Good that it was fixed but an fyi...u won't be getting more then 6-10holes with this auger in that depth. In 15 inches with a 3 y/o battery i am getting 6 holes. Good for my wheel house but that leaves me with 2 tip up holes. If i let it sit inside the warm shelter i can get another hole in about an hour.

Plan on buying a new battery every other year if not sooner and buy the best one they make. I just got sick of buying them so often so i just use my gas auger most times. Hopfully with battery advancments, we'll get 20-30 holes in 5 years.

It is great though for starting and no gas isn't it?
