Hey Jim,

I was wondering if you have used the mini smelt 1" ones? and I am trying to figure out what size jig would be best to use with these?

Yes, so far this year, I have had the best luck with the 1" minismelt, the Tadpole, and the tapeworm...

I rig them on anything, I rigged them on demons, diamond jigs, mooskas, etc.. they might need some adjusting as you start noticing how the fish are reacting to them.

I just received some Maki plastics, and am looking forward to using them this weekend also.

Thank you Jim! I just thought they looked kind of long so I thought I may need a longer shank hook like the ones on the size ratso or something. Thanks again I am just rigging up some plastics so I can give them a try tomorrow. I have some of the tapeworms as well I will be giving them a shot.

I agree Jim. I have had a memorable ice season to date. Cannot see how my ice fishing can get any better though.
