So it seems like there are a ton of guys on here that are into fish houses, particularly wheeled houses. There are always awesome build threads, and advice for maintaining and upgrading peoples wheel houses I'm here. It seems to me that the is enough traffic in that specific topic that it could support its own forum. Not that it's bad the way it is, just an idea.

Seems like a good idea. There have been a lot of great builds on this site, going all the way back to 2005 or 2006 at least. The only drawback may be that it seems like the subforums get less viewers, so input from other site members may actually be less than what it is when they are grouped into the main ice fishing forum.

I know that if you are looking to build a fish house, this is the site to visit to get all the info you could possibly need!

I've been on some other forum sites that have archived topics too. Maybe an archive of all the build threads would be cool. I'm constantly searching for wheelhouse build threads looking at ideas I have seen in the past.. It just seems that wheel houses are so unique to our region that it would be cool to have something specific about it.

I suppose a person could make a new thread with links to all of the previous builds inside it. I made one like that last year with a lot of links to Portable Mods, and it is nice having them all grouped in one thread. Also, anyone can add links as they find them. It might be nice to have them "sticky"ed to the top, but just bumping it occasionally works, too. Make sure to keep the chatter to a minimum, and just post links to builds, though. A half hour or searching, copy-and-pasting, and it's done. Someone just needs to do the legwork.

Why not divide the "ice fishing" forum into sub categories? You'd click "ice fishing" then have a few different choices from there. Fish house being one of them. Maybe flashers being another. Please excuse me for thinking out loud.
