hydro
Does anyone know of a nice removeable spring bobber? I like to use them under certain conditions but not all the time and one that works well but can be removed would be nice to have in the tackle kit. cavalierowner
The ones I use are Lakco Spring Bobbers for panfish. They're the only ones I've found so far that really work well. They have a red bead at one end that slides back so you can run your line through it and the other end has a spring that slides back so you can hook it over the rod. And you can retract it if you don't want to use it, but don't want to take it off. It probably takes a minute to put it on or off the rod even if you're line is down the hole. cavalierowner
I just realized there are a lot of Lakco spring bobers out there, so here is a picture. The spring end slides thru the eye of the rod and then attaches to the rod.
jmg
Unfortunately, the rounded area that is supposed to go around the fishing rod is too large for most of the rods I use, which means not using them or wrapping electrical tape or some similar material around the rods to increase the dia. of the rod. Those Frabill Titaniums spring bobbers are looking better all the time, despite their high cost.
Fishin4fun_MN
I would go that route. Have even thought about getting one of them myself.

Rope
I've been using a Frabill one this year that I really like. Pretty pricey though!!!
