Scoot
I'm looking at the small version of the Smith & Wesson M & P .45 ACP. I like the size and feel of the subcompact version, but the grip is too short for my liking. Is there any way to extend the grip on this pistol so it has more of a feel like the grip on the standard M & P? If not, I'll get the regular and I'm sure I'll be happy with it, but if I could get the small one with a longer grip, I'd prefer that. bobbymalone
I can't remember if it's the compact or the subcompact M&P 45 I have seen or the compatibility of magazines between different versions of that gun, but I know my buddy's M&P 45 has a 14 round extended magazine with an extra inch and an half or so of grip built into it. nsnutter
Most manufacturers offering a compact or sub compact version of their full sized handgun will be able to utilize full sized magazines and will have "sleeves" that slide over the full sized mags which act as a grip extension. The smith and Wesson m&p .45c is no exception. They accept the full size mags and there are mag sleeves available for them.
