dewey1
What do yu think is a good cut of beef for canning? Just thinking when a store has a sale or if one were to buy a half cow, what cuts would a guy want to use? Also, what about chipped beef. Aint nothing beter than s*** on a shingle with creamed chipped beef.
Walleyehooker
A cheap cut would be fine just trim the fat off. Canning will tenderize even a tough cut.
thirdeye
I like chuck roasts, and like was mentioned, trim the large excess areas of fat. Chuck has enough marbeling to keep everything moist.
