Duck Hunting by Hastings

I am looking for any information in regards to duck hunting down by Hastings. I know there is a huge wildlife refuge down there and I was wondering where you can duck hunt down there and how do you get to the wildlife area. Any information would be helpful. I would like to go down and look at the area but I don't know how to get to some good duck spots.

Hey Bigeyes!

It kind of depends on if you have a boat or not. If you have a boat go south of Hastings on Hwy 316 to 200th (Treasure Island sign) go across the bridge, and the access to North lake is about a mile down on your left! If your hoofing it.....Lt me know, and I can send you to some spots! Just so you know, this area gets POUNDED, so make sure you get there early!
