The zip tie method looks pretty quick and easy and the zip tie acts as its own safety so its one less step in the process. Trick is making sure to have zip ties on you.

Agree, you probably need to carry a half-dozen or have a rope as back-up. What if in "half-panic" mode you do not get both loops enclosed before you begin locking the tie ?

Need some pretty strong ties, but that method really looked like the way to go.

Was that a 330 or 220 ?
