What lakes are frozen and ready?

I saw people out on Florence in Cambridge today on my way through town. There is no way you'd catch me out there, but they walked out.

Just checked out on Orchard. Only walked out 15-20 feet. Not safe only 2" max of ice.

You are much braver then I... All the little lakes between you in Lakeville and me in Apple Valley are wide open except for some small ponds. I checked a little lake in your area today and there isn't as speck of ice on it... Those dang geese are doing a number on that lake.

Unfortunately the weather pattern is getting warm again so it will be a few weeks or more for safe ice.

checked blue lake between Zimmerman and Princeton and there was open water in the middle maybe 40% open.

S.W. of detroit lake had 3.5 went out yesterday with my son and had a god day took care of the itch after the ice show I will be ready bigger lake are fully open yet

The small ponds down here (Iowa City, Iowa) capped this past weekend.

I haven't bothered checking them, but kids have been throwing baseball-sized rocks on the ice on one pond near my house, and the ice is not breaking from the impact.

It is ten degrees outside right now, and if we got a couple more days like this I would actually be ice-fishing in southeast Iowa in late November. Too bad our little cold spell ends today.

Some of the Bays are iced up on Rainy lake. Pretty thin yet, hope to get out tomorrow or Thursday.

Alot of the lakes around the St Cloud area are starting to open up or have alot of open pockets forming. Things were looking good but with the forecast for the end of the week around this area, it may take a few days.

got on a smaller lake today east of white bear lake 2.5 to 3 inches the forecast is starting to bum me out.... i also looked at white bear lake today was maybe half froze over there was a guy fishing in a boat still

only about an inch of ice were it was froze

Little Waverly has a good three inches however has a few open spots, fishing slow just small perch and water clarity is 2 1/2 feet.

checked out a few lake in ham lake after work today, netta had a few people out there, maybe get out there after work tomorrow. im getting a little antsy. anyone been out on fishable ice yet in anoka county?
