FULL OF BALONEY!

Recommended Posts

Actually my freezer is... Our hunting party had a good year this year and I now have an abundance of venison ring bologna. I usually just give it a quick boil on the stove top for a quick and easy meal or slow cook it with kraut/potatoes. But I'd like to try some different things since the supply is ample.

Does anyone have any good recipes they use their bologna in? Jambalaya, Soups, Hotdishes, etc? Open to any suggestions!

Sausage Baked Dinner

3 lbs potatoes

1 ring sausage/baloney

1 onion/chopped

2 c grated parmesan

2 T butter

2 T parsley

1 t garlic powder

1 c heavy cream

milk

Slice potatoes thin, place in large pan with onions, enough milk to cover them. Add in spices and butter, stir, bring to a boil, reduce until potatoes are just tender, drain.

Combine cheese and cream in a bowl. I add 1 or 2 T Italian Seasoning...

Spray 9 x 13 pan and layer in 1/2 of the potatoes, 1/2 of the sausage (sliced thin) and 1/2 of the cheese mixture, repeat layers.

Bake @ 375 for 30-40 minutes

Really good!
