Liquid Smoke question

I have about 12 lbs of whole muscle jerky curing right now, I can do about 5 - 6 lbs in the smoker at a time with the configuration I have. I also have a pretty good dehydrator but I feel the smoker ends up with a better product.

SO, I want to dehydrate about 5 - 6 lbs in the dehydrator and I want to put some liquid smoke in there, anyone have a idea on how much I should use?

I just want a hint of smoke, nothing too strong.

Would probably just add it to your cure at about an ounce per gallon. Suppose you could also reduce to at least 1 to 2 water mixture and spray ....... probably more water if basting.
