bigshooter23
was doing some last shots to make sure bow is on for tomorrows hunt and was shooting into a foam layered target, blades are not opening. Dont know if its not enough for blades to open in foam or that i should take a honing stone to the dimple on the blade. nothing like second guessing ur self on a broad head the night before. anyone else have this issue? bigshooter23
got it figured out. put a piece of paper on back of target and i am cutting full width. must be the sudden stop that closes the blades up again.
Scoot
What Spitfires are you shooting? I've shot the Spitfire Maxx's for about four years on deer and been extremely happy with them.
bigshooter23
also shooting the spitfire max. Did a stalk on a nice ten mid day tonight after i seen it bed down 100 yards away. took me an hour and a half to walk 80 yards. its head popped up and all i had was a neck shot with no brush in the way. spitfire did a very nice job on it, but now need a new cape. first big deer with bow for me.
