chicken fried duck

Recommended Posts

Made this last night so i decided put it up here since i haven't seen it.

Ingredients

4 duck breasts

2cups flour

salt

pepper

garlic powder

1/2 cups milk

oil

soak your duck breasts for 3 days in water changing it a couple times a day to get as much blood out as possible. on the fourth day soak them in milk. pound breats flat with a tenderizer roll in seasoned flour, dip in milk and roll in flour again. add any seasoning you want to flour i like salt pepper and garlic powderfry in oil till they are golden brown.

save 2 tablespoons of pan drippings and add 3 tablespoons of flour. then slowly add in 1 1/2 cups milk till boiling. add a couple tablespoons of salt and pepper and reduce heat and simmer a couple minutes till reduced to a gravy consistency. double gravy recipe if you want to have some for mashed potatoes, or you have more duck breasts to cook.

my girlfriend doesn't eat wild game that much but loved this recipe, till i told her she was eating daffy.
