walleyewess
I am going to trade off my stoger 2000 for a new shotgun. I would like to get another semi auto but one that has a rifled barrel for it also. I was thinking about a remington 11-87 but im not sure if they make a rifled barrel for it? Or if there are other guns out there that you guys know about that has a rifled barrel for it any suggestions would be greatly welcomed. Thanks
jparrucci
If your stoeger is in good shape and camo, post it up on here. I've been looking for a used one forever, and you will get less than half the value for the gun on a trade in.
raymondk
there really isn't any resale value in a trade I would go the other way and look for a slug barrow for it I bought one a few years back which came with 2 barrows.
Gordie
The 11-87 has a a few choices when it comes to slug barrels so your covered in that department.A couple other choices to look at are the Winchester Super x-2 and the Browning Gold just to name a couple. 96trigger
if you are looking for a multipurpose gun on a budget you need to buy a remington or mossberg. Their are lots of reasonable barrel options out there. If you don't like those, and would want a browning, winchester x2, beretta, or benell, you should buy the gun with the rifled barrel on it first. You can then go back and buy bird barrel for it, much cheaper than the rifled barrel. In some cases the rifled barrel can cost you as much as the gun. You really better do some research before you purchase, some models are hard to find slug barrels for. I would go on an online gun auction site and see whats for sale and for how much. It might help you decide.
walleyewess
The gun is in good shape we still have the box and all the chokes that it came with but it is not camo and it does not like to cycle the shells sometimes. (main reason why we are thinking of getting rid of it) It is currently at a gunsmith getting looked over for this reason.
96trigger
When I trade in a gun, I try and get 80% of its used value. If they are bringing $400 used on the rack, I would try for, and be very happy with $320 on trade. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. Some stores definitely give better trade ins than others.
