Well I broke my trigger finger last night and its in a splint thing now, so it looks like I wont be able to shoot a gun like I had planned. Hopefully I can get out next weekend and chase some ducks around once the splint comes off. So good luck to everyone going out, and shoot a duck for me!

Buck up a little! Had the same thing happen to me, I just switched to using my middle finger instead. Practiced with a few clays the night before and surprisingly it worked quite well. Didn't hurt too much either.

Hey Walleyeking, you weren't using 3.5" BB Hypersonic Remington in a pump were you as to why it broke ? Be careful with that stuff everbody especially at the angles you may be aiming at birds, it's a crime Remington doesn't put an excessive recoil warning on that load. Crank 3 of those out of a pump and let me know what you think, mercy. Good luck King and I'd try that middle finger or at least see if that's an option for you.

I'm gonna try shooting with my middle finger tonight. doctor recommended not doing that, but he doesnt have to know!

Ditto musky buck!!!! Bought a box after you reported what happened to u last year and put a few through my 870. Holy carp! I won't be going either. Apparently the oil field doesn't shut down for duck opener. Go figure. Heading out next weekend during days off to chase some educated birds.
