Bent Bumper/Plastic

'98 Dodge Ram 1500. Lady didn't stop while turning a corner and bent drivers side end (one foot?) of my bumper in towards the wheel. It's a chrome bumper with two plastic parts attached under the bumper, two inserts with fog lights in the bumper and a plastic part ontop of the bumper. Chrome bumper must be replace but is it possible to transfer old plastic parts (no damage) to the new metal bumper. On a side note does this make any sense!

Makes sense to me. No reason not to as long as the bumper came off the same body style and year/'s. Most of the time that stuff is just held on by clips and screws.

Once you have the bumper off you will be able to see how those items are attached. Removing them should be pretty straight forward.

Yes it is possible but be very careful when you remove the clips, they get very brittle with the time.
