Finlander
Gonna cook a couple geese at work in a crock pot and I was wondering if you could shred the meat like you would shread any other meat and do you add or leave the juices after it gets shredded? And how do you shred meat? pushbutton
Have never done it, can't say for sure, but don't see why not. Cook it low and slow and then just take two forks and pull it apart along with the grain of the meat, could also just use your fingers and again just pull with the grain. Then, yep, just put it back in the juice or could add/use chicken stock if need be. Bet shredded goose tacos would be pretty durn good! OnAFly
Two forks and you should be good. With fattier meats like pork, you can use your hands and it just falls apart.
Dark Cloud
Forks or fingers, one or both should work... I prefer fingers with chicken, goose might be a tad tougher?
