Add Oil Light is Flickering

at times on my WideTrac!

There is plenty of oil in the tank. Should I be concerned or is it just a bad switch???

my yamaha did the same thing, I took into the dealer, and it was just a faulty sensor, more than likely thats your problem. if its under warrenty, take it back to the dealer for sure, if not, I would'nt worry to much about it.

It's way past warrenty and I am broke so unless someone posts up otherwise I think I'll let it go for now. Like I said there is oil in the tank and it is getting oil (can tell by the exhaust). I figured just what you said.

Dr.Bob, one thing for sure, if it didn't get enough or no oil at all.....you wold have noticed it by now !! Bye, bye motor !!

Sounds like the float in the oil reserve tank is stuck or faulty. That light only goes on to tell you fill the oil tank. If the light bothers you, just pull the light bulb from the dash to disconnect, and always monitor the oil level!
