after watching the video i took another look at assembling it. decided i dint want to damage something. and more importantly didnt want to put it together wrong and hurt myself in the process. i'll pay an experienced person to do it!!!!!!1 -
The auto cocker is an acce$$ory that attaches to the stock & has a crank arm to wind. There's also a battery operated one , but even I'm not that old.

They're pretty easy to assemble I highly recommend an auto -cocker. An old dude can hurt himself loading to many arrow " thingys" when practicing

Learned a bit about running completely on generator this summer. Ice fishing we’re adequately covered with the Honda 2000 but the big camper is another story. We went with a Predator 4550 inverter. Broke it in by spec and test ran it at home with everything on but on a cooler day. All good! First run on site was a hot day though. By all accounts it SHOULDA been enough to run the A/C but we had some issues. Harbor Freight even sided with us and exchanged our first one for a replacement. 2nd one did the same thing - over revved; overloaded and tripped out. After lots of internet trouble shooting and talking with actual electricians and debating about upsizing, I went with a soft start kit. Another $300 but yep, that was the ticket. Runs smooth as butter now. Even better n my best hand in cribbage tonight.

My 55PD wil turn left and right. However the prop nor drive shaft will not spin. I took off the prop to check the pin and checked for fishing line etc wrapped and everything was fine. I believe I'm getting power to the motor as I hear a "click" each time I switch the "forward/power" toggle to "on". All combinations of power (switch/lever...and all ranges of speed yield the same "click" sound but the drive shaft won't move.
Suggestions?
