1997 f-150 misses on slow acceleration but has power when stepped down hard

Recommended Posts

I have a 4.6 f-150 4x4 that misses when you gradually go to speed up going up a hill or even on level ground. Thought maybe converter but has power when stoped on. I have replaced the fuel filter, coil packs, egr valve, and the egr valve senser. Any idea's are greatly accepted!Oxygen sensor? What are left that can cause this. Just at a standstill right now!

Could it be a tranny slip due to tranny flush? Happens to me after I get off the hiway, stop, and start going again every morning on my way to work. I've heard that a pressurized flush is brutal on old seals. Two cars both did this after a flush with only 60,000 miles on each.
