coonchaser
I'm remodeling a basement, and i'm framing the walls now, would it make sence to sheet rock the perimeter walls once their framed cuz i can use 12 ft sheets and then go back and frame the bathroom and the closets etc. or should a guy frame the whole works and then rock it all etc. I realize i'd have to put in elec but i figured i could just run a drop down to where the bath room would be etc. and then wire that, was just curious thanks Rick
soldoncass
Inspector will want all the framing done first, then electric/ plumbing, all inspections done before covering walls and ceilings.
K_Josh87
frame it then rock it... then most likely your 12' sheets will cover full walls eliminating seams... more waste, but much more efficient taping, and better job done this way... as as mentioned, if inspected, that will be the order to follow.
