BoxMN
I have my 05 Trailblazer that gives slight "miss" almost, but not even that big. Just like a slight hiccup at idle or even notice it (sort of?) when at crusing speed. It has 114k and never changed the plugs/wires yet. I know that is first thing, but I can't for a couple days. No check engine light, no stalling, not super rough. Would the wires and plugs being old do this? Should I not drive it until I put new ones in? Seems a bit worse in hotter temps (i.e. today when HOT compared to last weeekend). Thanks for any advice.
Macgyver55
Since it is overdue at this point, that is where I'd start before trying to diagnose it further.

Powerstroke
My buddy has had similar issues iwth his trailblazer. Plugs was a main culprit, but he also had a bad O2 sensor once too.
BoxMN
Thanks guys. Yep, put in new plugs - the expensive AC Delco - and running like butter again. Funny thing, as a non-mechanic, I got home, popped the hood, and.... where the heck are the plugs?.... heh, I had no idea. I went over to the shop where the guys are friends and help me out, and told Paul I have the stupiest question he will hear all day - where the heck are the plugs?!?!? He just laughed, and showed me the diagrams. It said the time was listed at 2 hours, and I had it done within two hours, once I found them haha! I like those coil packs and it was easy on this engine, but he said some aren't so easy. Anyway, learned something new once again
