StrikeMaster lazer blade cover - rubber strap

Does anyone have an extra rubber strap for the lazer bit cover they would like to mail me? Or does anyone know a store that carries these on the shelf? I hate paying so much shipping cost on a tiny item.

Best I've found is the 2 pack on amazon for $15 after shipping. I fired up the auger today and noticed my cover was sitting on the ground since the rubber got brittle and broke over the Summer.

Since you're in Hanover why not run to Cabela's at rogers or run to Maple Lake to H&H when the season gets closer. both of them carry them.

k, if they stock these on the shelves then I'll just wait a bit. I jimmied it with 3 zip ties so the kids will be safe until I get one.

yeah stores will carry them but there is also the ice show the first weekend in December and the strikemaster crew has them for pretty cheap....I stocked up a couple years ago and I think I am needing to restock...good luck

You could take 1 of the cheap bungee cords (not the rubber strap) and tie a few knots in it wherever you need them.... I have been using 1 of these for years.

I'm not sure if it would work for your application, but Dtro put some rare earth magnets on his Nils auger cover. Secure, and no more messing with straps. I think he got them at Axe Man?

+1 for a bungee with a knot tied to shorten it to the needed length. The rubber straps always seem to get brittle and crack. I've had the same one for several years and the rubber strap barely lasted a year.

best way ive found to find replacements, talk all your budddies into buying cold snap covers, and then take the bungie from the cover they take off! LOL
