Muskydanno
I like slow rolling spinnerbaits , and plastics like the bulldawg at this time of the year. I also like the 13 inch grandma for trolling or casting. If it is a little earlier nothing beats a topwater in the reeds on big lakes like leech. Cooter
Jerkbaits and suckers. Suicks will forever catch muskies, also like Squirly Burts, Bobbies, and Phantoms. I bring suckers along every chance I get, try a little Magic Powder on the tails along with a small spinner above the leader or as a tail gunner. Use a quick strick leader or the musky gods will frown upon you and consume your boat with fire and brimstone.
crappie jigga
Sorry for the stupid question here but, How do you work a suick??? Do you jerk it hard and pause for a couple of seconds? Or do you jerk it soft, quick, and consistant???I've never seen one worked......
Tonka Boy
Crappie,Let the fish dictate what they want. Most often I'll make quick short jerks, but when they are tight lipped use long pauses. You can even troll them with good success in the fall.TB
topraider
suick's are we call a 50/50 bait they can be worked a few diferant way's but I like to run them fast in the summer over slop or sum-veg. i always feel that there is enough fish in the lake that one want's the bait he will strike it. you can also weight the suick and make it suspend or rise slowly to get slower fish to react. that is my advise for down here.
