I've spent many a nights watching people get shoo-ed out of bars (bartended in college).

Almost everyone is a PITA at the end of a good partying night. He just happened to get arrested at the end. Not the first time its ever happened and I'm sure it wont be the last.

Security is pushy, customers drag their feet. Same old, same old.

There were probably 10 other people that got booked for the same thing, in Houston, that night.

This one just happens to make it into the press. Ho Hum. Nothing to see here folks.

They'll reduce the charges, he'll pay a fine (same with most that get booked for the same), life will go on.

Oh, and BTW, for whoever said they'll check the security cams. My guess is they don't have any cams (if they are smart). Most bars avoid that type of thing. And those that do have cams, most of the time they aren't recording, they are just there to watch the employees (to make sure they aren't skimming).

From every report I have read it was Peterson who did the pushing when he was asked to leave. Where did you read otherwise? The videos must not show much one way or another or we would be seeing them. Could well have been overactive security but it takes two to tangle and from all reports Peterson had been a difficult customer all night. But if you have the money to lawyer up you can claim that up is down and convince some it is true, esp those full of the Kool-Aid.

All I am saying is he messed up. He should take responsibility for his actions, take his medicine like anyone else and get on with doing his job. He doesn't deserve special treatment because he can carry a football.

Ya, it looks as though he needs to start reading other reports. Since all the reports I am reading sure sound as though Peterson did deserve to be arrested.
