Something Different for Simmering Brats before the Grill Marks Hit

Recommended Posts

i've been simmering brats and fresh polish in beer and onions for some time. the old stand by and there is nothing wrong with that. today i'm making some of my fresh Polish and i'm simmering them in onions, oriental beef broth with a scoop of minced garlic. smells pretty good right now. then when cooked i'm putting them on the grill to get some love from the coals.

anybody else got something different for the "simmer" process? good luck.

so now that i have put the fresh polish on the grill, i have put the 3 ears of corn in the stuff i had the polish in. i had already had them simmering in water [the corn] but i thought, what the heck, i'll put them in the onion/garlic/oriental beef broth pan i had the polish in. should be interesting. good luck.
